As part of a continued mission to remove financial barriers to getting the full Carolina experience, the Undergraduate Student Government Executive Branch is excited to launch the Carolina Immersion Fund with the help of the Provost’s Office, the Office of Student Scholarships and Aid (OSSA), and the Parents Council.

The Carolina Immersion Fund (CIF) will be broken into smaller grants that will be available for students who have demonstrated financial need to pay for fees associated with any registered student organizations they may be involved in at UNC.

The maximum amount that students may apply for is $200. Student information will be kept confidential between the parties reviewing the applications – both OSSA and the Carolina Immersion Fund Application Committee composed of Student Government members.
