This financial literacy symposium marks the first of many new efforts to set you up for financial well-being during your time at Carolina and beyond. This session introduced students to fundamental investing concepts and provided tips on building savings that can help with navigating life situations.

This session focused on the fundamentals of building and establishing credit. Attendees learned about credit reports, credit scores and most importantly tips on how to build credit as a college student. This session also covered how to get your first credit card, use it wisely, and take advantage of the perks that come with many cards.

This session focused on providing tips on how to best prepare for life post-grad. These tips provided attendees with a solid understanding of how your financial situation will change once you start to receive paychecks, pay taxes, or even start a retirement account.
