Individual Costs and Budgeting Aid

  • Though individual student expenses can vary, your financial aid offer is based on the University’s official cost of attendance. Graduate and professional students’ cost of attendance budgets may vary as program costs vary.
  • You’ll be able to see your budget based on your program costs when you view your financial aid offer in Connect Carolina.
  • You will be billed directly for University tuition and fees, on-campus housing, on-campus meal plans, student insurance, and books billed through Student Stores.
  • We recommend visiting the cashier’s website to see what your actual billed tuition and fee charges will be.
  • Once you receive your financial aid offer, you will be able to see if you owe the University money or if you will receive a refund. Use our budgeting calculator to estimate cost by semester and calculate what you may owe.
