Keeping up with deadlines and any items on the Financial Aid “To Do” list in Connect Carolina is an important part of the financial aid application process.

You can begin applying for financial aid on October 1 for the upcoming academic year. We will not review and process financial aid applications until you have been admitted, but we recommend you complete the application early.

**For 2024-2025 there were changes to the FAFSA application. The FAFSA was not available until the soft launch in late December, learn more about FAFSA simplification and the impacts on timing of aid information here**

Important Undergraduate Dates

Deadlines for University aid consideration are for University need-based grants and scholarships.  To meet the deadline you must have completed all requested items (applications, and additional paperwork) by the deadline listed.

You may still be eligible for other types of aid such as loans, work-study, federal Pell Grants and scholarships from outside agencies after the deadline. If you are having trouble gathering the requested documents, please contact us.

The CCI Laptop Grant is for first year incoming undergraduate or transfer students without a previous bachelor’s degree and eligibility is based on the CSS Profile application. If eligible and the grant is not used be the deadline listed below, you will no longer be able to use it.
