Off-Campus Supervisor Work-Study Program Calendar Fall 2023/Spring 2024

ongoing: 14th of each month	Invoice files processed in Customer Billing Management (CBM). Departmental business managers can assign funding sources to cover earnings
ongoing: 21st of each month	Invoice files finalized in Customer Billing Management (CBM)
6/1/2023 - rest of academic year	Supervisors complete annual WS & JobX Training, quiz, and can begin posting fall/spring positions (try to submit before 7/1 to receive the most applications)
7/7/2023	Students who complete WS Trainings can access JobX to begin applying for academic year positions
7/7/2023	Supervisors can begin to interview students for academic year positions
7/31/2023	Students can begin working once hired through JobX and have completed HR on-boarding
9/4/2023	University Closed; WS students cannot work unless the department is open and a supervisor is present
11/23-11/24/2023	University Closed; WS students cannot work unless the department is open and a supervisor is present
12/1/2023	WS Staff begin reviewing new jobs posted for the spring 2023 semester in JobX
12/15/2023	Fall Only Hires: Last day for students who are in fall only positions to work, complete Fall Semester evaluations and return to students
Mid-December	End-of-fall earnings update sent to all current supervisors
1/10/2024	SPRING ONLY hires can begin
1/15/2024	University Closed; WS students cannot work unless the department is open and a supervisor is present
3/29/2024	University Closed; WS students cannot work unless the department is open and a supervisor is present
5/5/2024	Last day of work for all Work-Study Students. Complete academic year positions and Spring only position evaluations and return to students.
