Our office follows the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). To protect your student’s information, we have a process in place that will allow your student to grant you permission to discuss their financial aid information.

Your student will need to grant permission to share information in ConnectCarolina, and create a Personal Identification Number (PIN). Please be aware that this will be required for the following offices:

• Office of the University Registrar
• Office of Scholarships and Student Aid
• Cashier’s Office
• UNC One Card Office

If your student grants you permission you will be able to call and email our office to ask questions regarding their financial aid. Please be ready to provide your information and assigned PIN when contacting our office.
