Work-Study Programs

Work-Study Programs

Work-Study programs offer the chance to earn college funds by working a part-time job on campus or at community service agencies. You can apply for work study jobs that match your interests, skills and career plans. Work-Study programs allow students to earn money for school-related expenses while understanding that school comes first.

Work-Study is offered as both a federal program from the U.S. Department of Education and through Carolina Works, which is funded by the University.

Please Note: JobX is site for students to search for positions, and supervisors to post positions. Only students with Federal Work-Study and Carolina Works awards are eligible to participate in the positions offered on the JobX site.  Only supervisors who have gone through training can post jobs on JobX. You can find out more information about becoming a Prospective Employer here. For information on employment programs open to all students, please visit the Part-Time Employment Program’s website here.
