March 1 priority deadline for all students seeking financial aid to have submitted the FAFSA and, for undergraduates, also the CSS/PROFILE applications. Applications received after March 1 are considered and awarded as funds permit.
Notification of aid eligibility begins for the upcoming year. All students notified by email sent to your official UNC-Chapel Hill email address. Awards may be viewed at your my.unc.edu ConnectCarolina Student Center “Financial Aid” pages. Financial aid notifications will continue throughout the year as applications are received.
Registration begins for summer sessions. Check the Summer School website for exact dates. Summer financial aid eligibility will automatically be determined for those with current financial aid applications from the prior school year.
View your charges in my.unc.edu ConnectCarolina Student Center account at Student Accounts & University Receivables (cashier’s). Determine how you will pay your bill.
Attend Orientation Sessions for General Financial Aid Questions and Federal Work-Study Program Orientation.
Fall semester financial aid disburses to Student Accounts & University Receivables (cashier’s) the first week of classes for students with complete aid awards who are registered and meet eligility requirements.
